Our copper jewelry is natural and treated only with hand polishing. Keep your copper jewelry clean by occasionally washing it with lukewarm, soapy water. Then, dry and polish with a soft cloth. I recommend only using steel wool or a dremel polishing disc to bring the shine back to your pieces.

If your copper should tarnish, as copper naturally does, you can clean your jewelry using one of the following methods to restore its original shine:

1. Preferred Method. Using a dremel and a steel wire brush attachment, on a low setting, lightly buff the surface to reveal shine again.

2. Use table salt and vinegar - pour salt and vinegar over your jewelry and gently rub into the jewelry until any grime or tarnishing is removed. Rinse with water and polish with a soft, dry cloth.

3. Use salt and lemon - pour salt on half of a lemon and rub over jewelry, or pour salt and squeezed lemon juice onto jewelry and gently rub in. Rinse with water and polish with a soft, dry cloth.

When your copper is not in use, store in plastic bags to slow the tarnishing process.

Keep in mind, hand sanitizer and other alcohol based products can dull the shine of rings over time.

NOTE ABOUT "GREEN FINGER"

With certain people, there’s always the possibility of skin discoloration after prolonged wear. That’s COMPLETELY NORMAL AND HEALTHY. It’s the copper slightly oxidizing when coming Into contact with our skin. The color means your getting the health benefits!

Another thing to note, is often times the green finger means your body is too acidic.

If you don’t want your skin to become discolored, simply take some clear nail polish to the inside of the band. Let it dry, and easy peasy, no more discoloring! Let me know if you have any questions.
